FOREWORD
This book provides an overview of statistics and baseline characteristics, and describes the sample’s breastfeeding and complementary feeding practices. These methods used to standardize the assessment of motor development and present estimates of the assessments’ reliability. It examines the differences in growth and motor milestone achievement among populations and between sexes, and evaluates the appropriateness of pooling data for the purpose of constructing a single international standard. It also provide the growth standards based on length/height, weight and age, followed by the windows of achievement for the six gross motor development milestones, and the resulting growth curves and actual windows of achievement. It examines the relationship between physical growth indicators and ages of achievement of gross motor milestones in the sample population used to construct the standards. PREFACE

This book is aim to provide the readers the importance and awareness of various development processes that focuses on the physical and motor development. The book contains different ideas and discussions to help the teacher acquire the appropriate methodology in dealing with the students. The information’s are gathered through the different resources in order to give broader explanation about the topic. The book is designed to provide detailed information from different resources that may includes suggestions / conclusions.
