Organic vs. inorganic
In the last decade a new trend have increasingly grown. A health concerned society started really paying attention to what they eat on daily basis. Eating organic is not only healthier but trendier and is there to show social status. We walk into grocery store and look at two different apples both are shiny, firm and have a great colour . The main two differences are fancy organic term and the price tag it comes with. So which one is healthier , nutritious and safer for you? Usually the farmers only use natural fertilizer such as manure and compost. Secondly farmers are not allowed to use any chemical for pest and disease control . There is an obvious explanation for no chemicals in the organic food and that is the mere fact of farmers not using any while the plan is grown. Which connects to the safety of the environment, no toxic chemicals used means no toxic run-off that might permanently damage the water table. (2) Looking at inorganic foods we notice that some of the problems that come with it production. Genetically modification is one of the bigger concerns to the purist. But a lot of is simple crossbreeding or building a resistance to disease or weather...
