The terms and conditions of my employment start with a probationary period of three months once passed the probation you are fully employed by the company. My set hours are 36 hours a week; I must do these hours every week to ensure I meet my terms and conditions as stated on my contact of employment. As a care assistant The Grange are to make sure full training is provided so I am able to my job correctly. In my contact of employment I am entitled to 28 days of holiday which I can take from the 1st of April to the 31st of March each year, however I am also entitled to take unpaid leave if authorised by my manager. If I am to fall sick and unable to work I will receive SSP where eligible.
If the grange were to give me a disciplinary the following steps would need to be put in place;
A letter setting out the issue
A meeting to discuss the issue
A disciplinary decision
A chance to appeal the decision
I must ensure to follow the confidentiality produced on my contract; I must not disclose any information to any individual, firm or company during employment or after. As part of my agreement of employment I agree as stated on my contact not to take anything without consent, return any documents, discs and tapes that contain any confidentiality information and it requests I delete all confidential information I may have. Finally if I were to move on from The Grange I must give 1 to 2 weeks notice depending on my length of employment.
