Consumers this time have yielded high interest to a healthy yet tasty diet that contains high nutrients needed for their present lifestyle. They look for food that are much safer to eat while being environmentally good and doesn’t affect the animal welfare as well. [Hohenheim] When we go to what organic foods are about, basically they are foods that are grown using methods that are environmentally friendly which means no modern synthetic inputs are involved along with chemical fertilizers and pesticides. This means that they are grown and produced naturally. Not all the foods that we see in the markets are grown this way, because few are only available and most of them are grown not in the most possible natural way. Organically grown foods are becoming more popular as people worry more about health and the safety of the food they eat as to what was stated above. In our current generation, different kind of diseases and sickness are easily got and many people are becoming prone to it. With the growing rate of sickness and diseases, people now are more aware with their lifestyle especially with what they eat. With this inevitable truth, most individuals are conscious with what they will mostly get from the food they purchase. People believe that they have to eat more healthy foods like fruits nowadays to make up the deficiency, but unfortunately that means eating more chemicals, more potentially detrimental effects on their health because those foods that they normally buy are the conventional ones.
