Chemical Warfare Final Draft

Do you think it's right to use chemical toxins to harm or kill people who are defending, or fighting for their lives? I don't and that is why I am aganist chemical warfare. There are other ways which can be used to defend your country without taking away the lives of many people in such a barbaric fashion. Chemical warfare takels many innocent lives even when they haven't done anything wrong! Chemical warfare is a way of torturing people with nerve, blister, and choking agents. It should be banned because there has been many attempts to ban it and soliders should not be allowed to make these poor people suffer.

Chemical warfare takes away many innocent peoples lives. How would you feel if you were killed and you didn't do anything wrong? This tortures people and causes them to get killed for no reason. It takes away peoples family members and many children are forced to live without a mom or a dad. Some familes can not make it without that stream of income so they are forced to live on the street or with other family. This would be a really bad way to grow up. Don't you think?

Chemical warfare is a way of torturing by using nerve, blister, and choking agents. Nerve agents attack the nervous system of the human body. The effect of nerve agents are long lasting and cumulative. Blister agents cause severe skin, eye, and muscle pain and irritation. They cause chemical burn resulting in large painful water blisters. Choking agents stop a victims abiltiy to breath. They cause build upof fluids in the lungs which leads to suffocation.

Chemical warfare definitely needs to be banned. There have been many attempts to ban this horrid way of killing people yet all attempts have failed. On November 1st, 2005 the ICRC appealed public for a ban on their use. The call helped . In 2001 a treaty banning biological weapons was added to a list of protocols. President Bush ignored it.
