Besides, laugh it off also can reduce your stress. Another way to reduce stress is to get enough sleep. So, these are simple practices that, done regularly, can pretty quickly reduce your stress.
1. Listen to music
A effective way to release stress is listening to music. If you're feeling overwhelmed by a stressful situation, try taking a break and listening to relaxing classical music. You also can try listening to ocean or nature sounds. Playing calm music has a positive effect on the brain and body, can lower blood pressure, and reduce cortisol, a hormone linked to stress. Thus, listen to music can reduce your stress. 2. Laugh it off
When it comes to stress, laughter really is good medicine. A good belly laugh triggers production of endorphins, the brain's feel-good neurotransmitters. Laughter releases endorphins that improve mood and decrease levels of the stress. It also relaxes your blood vessels and increases blood flow. Laughing tricks your nervous system into making us happy and hence reduce stress. 3. Get enough sleep
One of the way to overcome stress is to get enough sleep. Lack of sleep is also a key cause of stress. This vicious cycle causes the brain and body to get out of whack and only gets worse and worse with time. Make it a point to get the doctor-recommended seven to eight hours of sleep. Turn the TV off earlier, manage our time, and do your best to get into bed. It may be the most effective stress buster.
